Commercial Development Project In Kaset-Nawamin District, Bangkok

Abstract

The project on Commercial Area Development of Kaset-Nawamin aims to propose development approaches and solutions for the problems caused by the coming growth of the area along the axis of Prasert Manukit Road. The area of the study is in the development plan of the government including the Expressway Project And the Brown Line sky train. This will make the area formerly a desolation area to be a fully-developed one. The area has long been left empty until Prasert Manukit Road has been built. Since then people have moved to settle in without proper management plan. This leads to the study point of this project. It is expected to study the guidelines for physical development, economy, society, and the further study and analysis of the area. The results of the study of spatial compositions together with the plans and projects of the governments including the expressway project and the Brown Line sky train, it showed that there will have a significant change and a sustainable development in the area in the future. According to the development plan for the commercial area of Kaset-Nawamin, the following is the summarized guidelines for its area development. The area should be zoned properly so that the area development can be managed to its fullest and for the maximum benefits.
