| dc.description.abstract | This thesis aims to study the economic characteristics. Data collection is done to
analyze the strengths, weaknesses, and problems of the Laksi area. Then summarization
is performed as a guideline to present the area development project to solve the area
problem for a future development plan.
According to the study, it was found that Laksi district had the important routes;
Vibhavadi Road, Chaengwattana Road, and Kamphaengphet 6 Road. They are major
routes from Bangkok to the west coast, to the central and to the northeastern region.
With the development of the metro transport center, this area is connected to the old
town where there are a lot of housing and people.
The guideline for the development of the Laksi area is divided into 3 major
approaches which are the development of the road network to create a new city
effectively, the development of physical areas, activities and good society, and the
development of urban areas to facilitate traveling in each district easily. The study
proposes the guidelines for improvement of the space development and suggestions on
issues associated with Laksi area. | en_US |
