Area Development of Chachoengsao Train Station

Abstract

The area in the train station of Chachoengsao Junction is location Namuang Subdistrict, Muang District, Chachoengsao Province and 2 km. from the city in the northeast near Mahajakapat Road (No 304) and Chachoengsao-Bangpakong Road (No 314) which is the main road for traveling to downtown. The train station is the important transit point for rail to the eastern put to Aranyaprathet Station (Sakaew Province) the train station of Kaengkoy Junction (Saraburi Province) Phutalung train station (Chonburi Province) and Maptaput Station (Rayong Province). It is found that the model development of rail public transport system makes area have an impact which changes the area around the station as a travel link to various area and change the land use for residential building, including activities of roaming around the area surrounding public transportation. The research has proposed an approach an approach in the designing space to achieve the development and consistent with the context using the main concepts in the development the area around the station (TOD) causing density and eating the source of new economy supporting the city center with the designed layout of the public transport system and the surrounding are to support traveling in the future, the public area that promotes it functions and provide.
