Area development in Rangsit District, Phathumthani

Abstract

The Rangsit Area Development Project aims to present the development of the area. Rangsit area is on the outskirts of Bangkok. The area has large shopping malls, bazaars, retail markets and wholesale markets that are important in the district. The area is also a major turning point in the journey. The area is located on Highway 1 or Phaholyothin Road, Rangsit-Pathumthani Road and Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok Road. This makes it easy to travel to the North and East. Because the area is both a major turning point and a major commercial center of the province, the area has many activities. There are a variety of users. It leads to educational issues that lead to the development of the area in line with the users, activities and roles of the area. Based on the current state of the site, the area is in a high potential area and easy to access. There are also red suburban train projects that will make it easier to access the area in the future. From the area study, the general condition of the area has deteriorated. There are many open spaces which lack development but there are still many activities and user groups. The development of the area focuses on activities and user groups. It will keep the existing activities and user groups but the activities and user groups are programmed to design a new layout to be consistent with the role and potential of the area. It focuses on the bazaar area, retail markets, wholesale markets and turning points according to the role and potential of the area.
