dc.description.abstractThis research aims to study the reconstruction and development of Sriphachan community, Suphanburi Province. The study focuses on economics, society, land use, and building height of the community from the past to the present. Then the obtained result was used to study the problems and prospects of the community and was employed to define designing concepts. The study found that Sriphachan community is old and has settled and traded along the Tha Chin River. At the present, even though Sriphachan community is sluggish because local people migrate into to find work in big cities,there are shops in the area. However, Sriprachan community has abundant agriculture because it has good irrigation system. With its unique in agriculture, Sriprachan community has potentiality to be a good agricultural learning center. The analysis and area studies found that there is a tendency for expansion in the trade in Sriprachan. But its water activities will be reduced. Moreover, it was found that Sriprachan has many religious places that are important historical resources. These can be developed to be main tourist attractions. The combination of historical places, water activities, and agricultural learning center can promote its tourism.en_US
