Development of Low Income Housing Minburi Suburban Community
Abstract
This thesis aims to provide a guideline for the development of the Minburi suburban community area when the Minburi area is designated for development to
meet the surrounding context and is an important opportunity for restoration and investment in potential areas.
The area is a center of work and a multi-level residential area. There is also a community of low-income communities spreading across several communities
within the area. From the project of the Town Planning Office, Minburi is a suburban community center that supports the expansion of the middle Bangkok.
It is the link between urban society and suburban society. It is necessary to use much knowledge in determining the suitability for the study, such as the impact
on the project, both positive and negative. The theory supporting the definition of suburban community boundaries, focusing on developing areas suitable for
the residential development of the low-income population is used in the study.
A proposed development of Garbage Swamp Area is a guideline to the development of land uses in order to develop activities in infrastructure services for the
population around the area. It is a development of three major areas: commercial areas, residential areas for low-income people and labors. The new
development area will allow the abandoned areas to be restored to physical structures that respond to new types of activities, and to develop areas to
enhance the use of land in accordance with the city.
