The Guideline adaptation of medium and small logistics business services enter to ASEAN economics community

Abstract

A Study of the small and medium sized logistic business services of entry into ASEAN. Data were collected by questionnaire from 41 samples in Nakhonpathom province , Samutsakorn province and Bangkok. Data were analyzed by Computer program for social data to examine the relation of business models and analysis of the status of existing transportation services contract. Study about the effects of the AEC's business into the medium and small logistic contractors and guidelines for adapting to survive in business services. The results showed the existing business service model is the logistic business service shipping directly to the destination. They have using general logistic and operational systems. Shipping products to Southern and central regions. the main products to transport are automobile products and accessories. The status of employment of medium logistics business service. The company have employs 31 people in up to THB 2 million investment and over proportion investment in Thailand. The status of employment of small logistics business service have 5-10 employers. Investments 1,000,001 to 1,500,000 baht investment into Thailand. And longer period was 10 years. The medium and small logistic businesses have been affected by the AEC. The overview of the issues and problem found was personnel. Fuel consumption. Lack of support from the government. Shipping prices are not standard. Not enough vehicles to transport goods. Lack of good transportation system in the business. Lack of technology to facilitate transportation. The product is damaged or lost during shipping. Duration of shipment delays or time constraints. It was found that the medium logistic business have an impact on the lack of support from the government. Lack of good transportation system in the business. The small logistic businesses have an impact in personnel and lack of support from the government. Fuel consumption. This effect is very important to the development and adaptation approaches in the medium and small logistic businesses to have access to ASEAN in the future. The questionnaire of the survey, the researcher has been suggested that this query is useful for the small logistic business. And universities to bring this research to help the small and medium logistics business to guide in resolving the issue and prepare to enter the ASEAN Economic Community. They also want the government support logistic business service for sustainable logistic.
