This study has the objectives to study the process of building construction which is friendly to environment. The main objective was to study the environmental protection processes since the beginning of the construction process that was the current general practice in Thailand. The study investigated the processes and steps of the construction included the problems and the causes of the problems in order to find appropriate solution to correct and improve the actual practice in construction process both in government agencies and other agencies. The study was conducted by data collection method. The questionnaires were answered by all persons relevant to the construction project: project owners, project executives, building site’s controller, sub-contractors, persons and document related to the project construction. The study gathered both problems occurred from the construction and problems occurred from the building using after the construction finished. The data also collected from the construction projects which the buildings were under contracted and the projects which the buildings had finished. The data were collected by the researchers sending the questionnaires to construction projects both under the government agencies and other agencies. Each agency was received 30 questionnaires and r15 questionnaires were returned. The methodology used Chi–Square method to find the differences among government agencies’ projects and other agencies’’ projects. From the study found that the problems occurred in government agencies were different from problems occurred in other agencies. . The different problems derived from the insufficient of experts in construction building which is friendly to environment and the actual construction work was not related to the construction period. This research also found that the construction’s problems occurred in government agencies were in highest level, on the contrary, the construction’s problems found in other agencies were in medium and little level. The problems caused by they had a great deal of systems involved in the construction and those systems were also complex. Furthermore, the sub-contractors for each work came from different company, therefore, sometimes the cooperation among sub-contractors were not good enough. This study has presented the details of the guidance for problem’s solving solution. The guidance compared the U.S.A. Government’s Green Building construction contract’s conditions (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, LEED) or Thailand Green Building Construction to the current contract’s form using in Thailand. This guidance was created in order to prepare to construct the buildings which are friendly to environment. In this relation, the researchers also presented the guidance to improve the unclear and non-prudential construction processes included added some essential guidance for supporting the construction of building which is friendly to environment to have more appropriation and efficiency.en_US
