A model development project of cultural tourism for the Nakornchaisri River which is a qualitative research was performed by a semi-structure interview method. An interview used as a tool to collect data was investigated with an Item Objective Conguence Index (IOC). A consistency between a questionnaire and objectives of the interview was examined by an expert. Data were mainly collected from the local elderly, proprietors, and people outside a community. The results have been shown as follows:
1. The Klong Mahasawas community is ready for the cultural tourism potentially based on the cultural attractions along the Klong Mahasawas and on the support, the history, and the management of the community.
2. The community operates and services round-trip longtail boats to tourists. Each longtail boat can load 4 - 6 tourists and costs 350 baht. The entrance fee to each attraction is 70 baht per person.
3. There are three options provided to the tourists to experience the cultural lifestyle; a round-trip boat tour, a one day one night tour, and a bicycle tour. For the round-trip boat tour, the tourists have a chance to visit seven attractions within three and a half hours and it costs 140 baht per person. For the one day one night tour, the tourists visit seven attractions and stay overnight in the homestay accommodation. Each one costs 640 baht. For the bicycle tour which takes approximately a day, tourists can rent a bicycle from local bicycle rental stores and ride it along the Klong Mahasawas.
