The Development of Computer Assisted Instruction Lesson on Mandarin Daily Life Vocabulary for Primary Student in Bangkok Area
Abstract
The Research of the development of computer assisted instruction lesson on Mandarin in daily life vocabulary for primary students in Bangkok area consists of 2 objectives as: 1) to develop computer assisted instruction lesson on Mandarin in daily life vocabulary for primary students and 2) to assess the satisfaction of the primary students who use the program of computer assisted instruction lesson on Mandarin in daily life vocabulary. The research instrument is rating scale questionnaire which independent variable is computer assisted instruction lesson on Mandarin in daily life. All data collected were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation statistics, program SPSS and explained by the data table.
From the study, it is found that most respondents are male students and followed by female students. Most students are in Grade 5, followed by students in Grade 6. The Assessment of the presentation and content shows that the content appropriate to learners and teaching techniques were in the most in all aspects ( = 4.48), the presentation to the lesson’s interesting, motivation of students to learn and the clarity in explaining the content were in the least in all aspects. ( = 4.22) The assessment of instructional media and pictures shows that pictures which are appropriate for the age of learners was in the most in all aspects ( = 4.32 ), pictures were accord to instruction media was in the least in all aspects. ( = 3.73)
