This research study of heat transfer in vulcanization the rubber compound process using microwaves combined with surface heat conduction. The study compared data between microwave vulcanization, surface heat conduction vulcanization at upper and lower surface of sample and microwaves combined with surface heat conduction vulcanization process. The results found that the microwave energy heating faster than surface heat conduction. However the sample is uncompleted vulcanization. While the sample is completed vulcanization in case of surface heat conduction vulcanization but this process use a lot of energy and long period of process. When used in combination with microwave and surface heat conduction vulcanization, the result found that if both the right energy is used, the process can reduce the duration of vulcanization and rubber compound is completed vulcanization.en_US
