Entrepreneurs’ comments on the readiness and desirable skills of graduated students from Faculty of Business Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin in the context of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)

This research aims to study about entrepreneurs’ opinions and comments on
desirable skills and readiness of graduated students from the Faculty of Business
Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin Salaya.
Questionnaires were used to collect data from 174 establishments that accept
students into Cooperative Education Program.
The applied methodology for this project was Survey Research and then
analyzed collected data using the statistical package program (SPSS for Window 18.0)
to find frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation. The hypothesis was
tested using T-Test by setting the statistical significant level at .05 (point zero five).
The results showed that establishment positively scored in every surveyed area.
A survey of the important characteristics of students of Faculty of Business
Administration can be summarized as following:
1. Interpersonal Relationship Towards Colleagues and Organization: The average
score was 4.19 (highly desirable) and positive scores were from the ability to effectively
perform their assigned tasks and job responsibility in particular.
2. Professional Ethics and Moral: The average score was 4.12 (highly desirable)
and positive scores were from understanding the value of the profession ethics and
moral and having a positive attitude towards their profession in particular.
3. Other Aspects Related to AEC: The average score was 4.11 (highly desirable)
and positive scores were from problem solving skill along with foreign language skills
English, Chinese, Japanese, etc in particular.
4. Skill and Knowledge to Perform the Tasks. The average score was 4.10 (highly
desirable) and positive scores were from knowledge and understanding relating to
business management and ability to integrate and apply it appropriately.
5. Initiative and Personal Knowledge: The average score was 4.08 (highly
desirable) and positive scores were from ability to track, evaluate and report
accurately.
