The Development of Researcher Data Base Management System by LINQ

Abstract

This Research has objective for the development of researcher database management systems by LINQ of the Institute of Research and Development. Its benefits are for the officers of the Institute of Research and Development in order to store the database of researchers and researches. This is to be useful for searching the information of researchers and researches. Also, this is helpful for checking the status of researches and monitoring published results. The developed system can be used to search the wanted information by entering some relevant words or contents into the search. Then the data will display after searching. The development processes start with the system design followed by testing the working system by the officers. The display of outcomes will be shown in the website. The tools and software to use for developing the program are Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 with C # and LINQ to connect to the database. This is to reduce the difficulties in the technical mapping of the database which is in the form of object relational mapping. It can also reduce the number of lines of programming with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2.
