Community Cultural Mapping Khet Phra Nakhon Bangkok

Abstract

This research aims to design a map of Community Cultural in Phra Nakhon Area, Bangkok to do research about the satisfaction of tourists to the map and to promote cultural tourism in the Phra Nakhorn area due to the Phra Nakhorn area is an area of cultural tourism and history. According to the vision of Phra Nakhorn area which emphasize on the relationship and potential of arts and culture, tourist attractions and other community resources between the old and new culture in the area. To lead villagers and communities appreciate their culture and tourism places in order to develop tourism in a sustainable way. The instruments used in this research is the population of cultural tourism in Phra Nakhorn area which divided into 14 categories. I used specific sampling, the sample defined context, survey the satisfaction of the cultural community cultural map of Thai and foreigners tourists, then do the conclusion. The evaluation was designed from design professionals and experts in related fields to develop the work to be completed. The results showed that the design, detail and quality of the benefits and applying had lead to the great satisfaction level of the map's user because of its comfortable and easy to understand.
