The innovation design of knock down furniture made from scrap wood by using the dowel derived from Thai wisdom

Abstract

The research aims to study 1.) The case study of innovation design of knock down furniture made from scrap wood by using the dowel derived from Thai wisdom 2 . ) To add value to solid wood products and enhance trade in the wood products industry 3.) To produce furniture by using the dowel, and develop manufacturing technology and develop processing technique. The researcher has been inspired by sustainable design theory to designed and produced furniture with the dowel by using voice of the customer, and then disseminated knowledge to the community and Fasai Witthaya School. The researcher also exhibited the product at event and got the result of customer satisfaction surveys. The product was rated well by statistics.
