dc.description.abstractThis study was a quantitative research using a survey method by questionnaires. A sample consisted of 219 students majoring in Marketing, Faculty of Business Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, Salaya and Chakkrawat Campus, using accidental sampling method and based on Yamane’s formula with a reliability of 95%. The statistics used in this research were percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research findings were: In regards to general information of respondents, female respondents were more than male respondents. The average GPA of students was 3.00 – 2.51. The curriculum was normal, 4-year curriculum and most of respondents were the third year students. In terms of students’ potential, Marketing students have studied and searched for information about ASEAN community mostly via electronic media. In regards to promoting potential, the university has promoted foreign languages mostly and the Faculty of Business Administration has also promoted foreign languages mostly for potential development in the curriculum. In terms of instructors’ potential, most of the instructors have knowledge of specific career and the students have potential of specific career more than any other aspects. In regards to the satisfaction on the university’s preparation for ASEAN community, the aspect of arranging activities related to ASEAN (exhibition) had the highest mean of 3.65 which showed high satisfaction. In regards to the satisfaction on the Faculty of Business Administration’s preparation for ASEAN community, the aspect of arranging international personality training had the highest mean of 3.77 which showed high satisfaction. In addition, for the satisfaction on the instructors’ preparation for ASEAN community, the aspect of engaging students to be well prepared for entering ASEAN community had the highest mean of 3.93 which revealed high satisfaction. In regards to the satisfaction on the marketing students’ preparation for ASEAN community, the knowledge of specific career had the highest mean of 3.88 which revealed high satisfaction. However, gender, GPA and the year of students have significantly correlation with preparation for ASEAN community at 0.05.en_US
