This research is aim to developed Electromyography (EMG) signal for used as biofeedback system to control the continuous passive motion (CPM) machine for knee joint. The measurement of EMG signals would be processed and compared with the signal from standard equipment with calibration. The result found that the EMG signal is less than 41% of maximal voluntary contraction (%MVC). This result would be used as the constrain for programming CPM machine to automatic stop when the muscle contraction exceeds the criteria for 5 second continuously. The control program of CPM machine for knee joint is tested by potentiometer. The result from testing found that the program can be stop CPM machine when potentiometer received signal exceeds the setting value for 5 second continuously and the EMG signal from Flexor carpum ulnaris and Tibialis anterior can stop CPM machine when the signal is higher than 2 2%MVC for 5 second continuously in every range of motion of CPM Machine.en_US
