This art education thesis, titled “Creation of a Freestanding Sculpture: “Mother (Mold) of the Child”, aims to: 1) study concepts, inspirations, and theories related to motherhood, as well as sculptural works by artists that express the idea of “Mother (Mold) of the Child”, 2) apply the acquired knowledge of maternal concepts and artistic styles to create a freestanding sculpture using clay modeling and plaster casting techniques, and to exhibit the completed work to the public, and 3) produce an educational video for the purpose of instructional integration into upper secondary and vocational education curricula. The research process was divided into 4 steps as follows: 1) studying, researching, and collecting data through the analysis of artists’ works, leading to the design and creation process - including modeling, mold making, and casting. 2) creating the art education thesis project. 3) analyzing and summarizing the results. and 4) presenting the creative work and instructional media. The research found that 1) The study of concepts, inspirations, and theories related to motherhood found that the word mother carries a profound meaning—she is the giver of life, nurturer, and moral guide who raises her child with unconditional love and selfless devotion. A mother becomes a lifelong source of inspiration, and no matter the obstacles, her child is driven to overcome them and achieve success. 2) The result of the sculpture consisted of 2 pieces: the 1st titled "Mother (Mold) of the Child 1", measures 120 cm in height, 157 cm in length, and 100 cm in width and the 2 titled "Mother (Mold) of the Child 2", measures 162 cm in height, 100 cm in length, and 100 cm in width, Both works were created using clay modeling as the primary technique, then casting in plaster. 3) For the educational media, the researcher produced a snapshot-style video and edited it into a teaching resource titled “Creating a Plaster Mold”en_US
