PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT’S READINESS OF RATTANAKOSIN RACHAMANKALA TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY IN ADOPTING THE STATUS OF GOVERNMENT’S REGULATED UNIVERSITY

Abstract

This study has the objectives to; study the opinions of the personnel on the management’s readiness; compare the people’s opinions on the issues. The study adopted a survey research approach. The samples were from stratified sampling of 296 University’s personnel classified from 1,131 persons by Yamane’s formula. Questionnaires were used as data gathering tool. Descriptive statistics were percentages means, Standard deviation. Inferential statistics were T-Test, and one-way ANOVA The research showed that; the university had readiness in overall at the high level, with the highest being the selection of manpower while the lowest were the welfare and fringe benefits and, 2 the comparative study revealed that different characteristics of the persons had no different opinions toward personnel administration The suggestions on the policy were that the university should apply the government’s policy on this issue. On the administration, the university should improve or amend registrations in support of personnel and there should be comparative studies on the administration of the government’s universities and the ones regulated by the government.
