THE FACTORS AFFECTING THE EFFICIENCY OF THE JOB PERFORMANCE OF THE LOCAL PERSONNEL OF SALAYA SUBDISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, NAKHON PATHOM PROVINCE
Abstract
The purposes of this research were to study the issues in connection with job
performance of the personnel working for Salaya subdistrict municipality covering (1)
the level of efficiency in the performance (2) the factors affecting the efficiency, and (3)
suggestion on the methods of increasing the officials’ efficiency.
This research adopted quantitative method. The population chosen were the
municipality’s personnel who were officials, employees and hired hands for special
duties totaled 127. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson’
stepwise correlation coefficient were used in analysis of the data.
Major research findings were 1) the efficiency of the performance of the officials
was at a high level, 2) the factors consisting of personnel, material, budget and
management did affect the efficiency of the job performance at a statistically significant
level of 0.01 3) training and application of information technology in the organization
were suggested in view of improving the efficiency of the performance of the local
personnel in Salaya municipality.
