PEOPLE PARTICIPATION IN LOCAL ADMINISTRATION HUAHIN DISTRICT, PRACHUP KHIRI KHAN PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aimed 1) to study people participation in Local Administration of HuaHin Municipality 2) to compare people participation in Local Administration of HuaHin Municipality and 3) to explore an appropriate management development approach in Local Administration of HuaHin Municipality for more efficiency. This research adopted quantitative research, The instrument used to collect data was questionnaires. The samples were 398 HuaHin resident, calculated by Yamane. The statistics used to analyze the data were mean, standard deviation, t test and One-Way ANOVA. The results were as follow; 1) people participation in Local Administration HuaHin Municipality was at a high level 2) there were a significant different among respondent attitude toward Local Administration HuaHin Municipality in terms of age, ,education and occupation at .05 statistical levels and 3) the appropriate management development in Local Administration of HuaHin Municipality should have access to the premises, area and community opportunity for all people to participate, give people sustainable benefits and distribute them in all communities, and the municipality should arrange a representative or set up a working group to review the work of the municipality.
