Effectiveness of educational quality assurance of Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin
Abstract
The purpose of this research were to (1) study the effectiveness of educational
quality assurance of Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin (2) study the
relationship between personal factors, administrative factors and the effectiveness of
educational quality assurance 3) study the problems and obstacles about the operation of
educational quality assurance; and 4) analyze the multiple regression of the
effectiveness of educational quality assurance.
This research employed mixed methods. Quantitative research method
gathered the questionnaires from 264 officers and analyzed the data with computer
by using the statistical program. The statistical analysis consisted of frequency,
percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s product movement coefficient of
correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Qualitative research method
data collected by interview the director of quality assurance and assistant director of
the Office of academic promotion and registration, and analyzed the interpretation
analytic induction.
The results revealed that: 1) the effectiveness of educational quality
assurance of Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin was at a high level.
2) the positive relationships between personal factors, administrative factors and the
effectiveness of educational quality assurance was at a moderate level 3) the problems
and obstacles about the operation of educational quality assurance are as follows: Some
staffs lack understanding about educational quality assurance, and executives focus
on quality assurance in the end, and 4) the loading factors of the effectiveness of
educational quality assurance composed of 5 factors; corporate culture, attitude in
quality assurance, knowledge of quality assurance, quality assurance policy, and
leadership of the executives.
