Performance Competency of the Corrections Department’s Officails : A Case Study of Region 7 Prison
Abstract
This research is a study of the performance of the Department of Corrections: Case
Study of Region 7 Prison.1) To study the performance of the prison staff of Region 7
Corrections. 2) To study the guideline for improving the performance of District 7 prison
staff. Corrections 3) To compare the performance of the population of the respondents.
This research is a quantitative research. Data collected from the sampling questionnaire
were analyzed by 246 sampling method. The sample consisted of 8 prisoners in the 7th
correlation region. The data were collected using a questionnaire. Descriptive statistics
were mean, standard deviation, percentage. And one-way deviation analysis.
The study indicated that 1) The performance of the prison staff of Region 7 Corrections
was at a high level. 2) The development of competency in the performance of the
opinion of the prison officer in the 7th Correctional Department has been developed
according to the form of assessment of performance at the high level. 3) Comparison of
performance from different demographic characteristics. There was no difference in
opinions on the performance of District 7 Prison Officer.
