THE PROBLEM-SOLVING PROCESS FOR A NATIONALITY PREDICAMENT OF THAI DIASPORAS IN PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN PROVINCE
Abstract
The purposes of this study were to investigate ;the problem-solving process for a
nationality predicament of Thai diasporas in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province ; influences of
personal factors on the problem-solving process for a nationality predicament of Thai
diasporas in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province.
This study employed a quantitative design. Data were collected from 305
individuals requesting a formal verification and certification for the Thai diaspora status
in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Data were collected through questionnaires and
statistically analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and
one-way ANOVA.
Results revealed that;the overall problem-solving process for a nationality
predicament of Thai diasporas in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province was extremely high with
a mean of 4.32 and; personal factors including age, education, and occupation
influenced the problem-solving process for a nationality predicament of Thai diasporas
in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province.
