THE IMPLEMENTATION SUCCESS OF GASOLINE SMUGGLING PREVENTION AND SUPPRESSION POLICY IN KINGDOM OF THAILAND
Abstract
The purposes of this study were to access the Implementation Success of Gasoline
smuggling prevention and suppression Policy in Kingdom of Thailand; to compare opinions
of sample group by demographics on the Implementation Success of Gasoline smuggling
prevention and suppression Policy; to explain relationship between influencing factors of
policy implementation and the success of the implementation of Gasoline smuggling
prevention and suppression Policy; to predict the success of implementation of gasoline
smuggling prevention and suppression policy.
The study employed quantitative survey design. Quantitative data were collected
through questionnaires. The sample of 200 included civil servant officers, and the project
employees at Prevention and suppression Bureau Excise Division Ministry of Finance.
Statistical software was employed to analyze the data using, percentages, mean, standard
deviation, t test, One Way ANOVA, Pearson correlation and Multiple Regression.
Results revealed that the implementation Success of Gasoline smuggling prevention
and suppression Policy was high level; The sample group, by demographic, processed
different opinions on the implementation of gasoline smuggling prevention and suppression
policy with statistical difference; The influencing factors of the policy implementation
were positively correlated with success of prevention and suppression policy at .01 level;
The implementation of the gasoline smuggling prevention and suppression policy was
predicted to achieve a 59.6 percent chance of success.
