SUCCESS MODEL OF QUALITY WORK-LIFE MANAGEMENT: A CASE OF NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICER ATTACHED TO ARMY NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICER SCHOOL, ROYAL THAI ARMY
Abstract
The purposes of this study were to assess the success of the quality of work-life
management among non-commissioned officer attached to Army Non-commissioned
Officer School, to compare the opinions of the sample group on the success of the quality of
work-life management of the non-commissioned officer attached to Army Non- commissioned
Officer School, to explain the relationship between influencing factors of quality of worklife
management and the success of the quality of work-life management of the noncommissioned
officer attached to Army Non-commissioned Officer School, and predict
the success of the quality of work-life management of the non-commissioned officer
attached to Army Non-commissioned Officer School; to construct a quality of work-life
management model of the non-commissioned officer attached to Army Non-commissioned
Officer School.
This study employed a mixed-methods design. Qualitative data were collected through
in-depth interviews and non-participant observations. Nine key informants included noncommissioned
officer. The data were analyzed with a thematic analysis. Quantitative data
were collected through questionnaires. Through an independent, multistage random
sampling design, the sample included 300 non-commissioned officers attached to Army
Non-commissioned Officer School. Statistical software was employed to analyze the data
using percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One Way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and
multiple regression.
Findings revealed that the quality of work-life management of the non-commissioned
officer attached to Army Non-commissioned Officer School was at high level average 3.62;
the opinions of the sample group on the quality of work-life management of the non-
commissioned Army Non-commissioned Officer School were different in phase of demographic
factors at the 0.05 significance level; the influencing factors of quality of work-life management
of the non-commissioned officer attached to Army Non-commissioned Officer School were
correlated with the success of the quality work-life quality management at the 0.01
significance level and could forecast the success of the quality work-life quality management
at 61.2% and; the success model for work-life quality management model of the noncommissioned
officer attached to Army Non-commissioned Officer School were motivational, job-satisfaction, cultural, and organizational factors.
