SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT BY PARTICIPATION OF PEOPLE IN HUAI PLU SUBDISTRICT AREA NAKHON CHAI SI DISTRICT NAKHON PATHOM

Abstract

The objectives were to; assess the participation level in the solid waste management of the residents in Huai Phlu sub-district, Nakhon Chai Si district, Nakhon Pathom province; and compare the participation level in solid waste management by personal factors of the residents in Huai Phlu sub-district. This quantitative study employed a questionnaire to collect the data. Samples included 345 residents. The obtained data were statically analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and one-way ANOVA. Results revealed that; the residents’ participation level in the solid waste management was rated moderate; and the residents that differed in educational levels and monthly incomes had different participation levels in the solid waste management at the .05 significance level.
