APPLICATION OF NEW PUBLIC MANAGEMENT TO DEVELOP ELECTRONIC CORRESPONDENCE SYSTEM FOR DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS
Abstract
The objectives ware to assess performance effectiveness with electronic
correspondence system of Department of Highways; clarify correlations between electronic
correspondence system services quality and performance effectiveness from applying
electronic correspondence system of Department of Highways.
This is a quantity research. The questionnaire is used for gathering data from the
sample group comprising of 118 cases of officials of the Office of the Secretary,
Department of Highways who use the electronic document system. In addition, the
frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson's correlation.
The findings reveal that; the performance effectiveness with electronic
correspondence system of Department of Highways is at high level (means = 4.02); and
the electronic correspondence system service quality has correlation with performance
effectiveness with electronic correspondence system of Department of Highways at the
high level with statistical significance at the level of .01.
