THE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE OF NATIONAL BUDDHIST OFFICE
Abstract
This study was conducted with its four objectives (1) To study the performance
result management of the National Buddhist Office (2) To study the achievement of
government performance of the National Buddhist Office (3) To study the relationship
between performance result management and government performance achievement
in the National Buddhist Office and (4) To find the performance management ways in
order to achieve the government performance of the National Buddhist Office.
The mixed-method research methodology was used in this study. The 1,111
populations consisted of National Buddhist Office’s government officers both work in
central administration and in provincial administration. The statistics used in this study
were frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The research hypothesis was
tested by Canonical Correlation Analysis. There were 8 key performances used in
qualitative research method by purposive sampling method. The data were collected by
using in-depth interview. The data were analyzed by using descriptive research method.
The results revealed as follows 1) The results in the performance result
management and the achievement of government performance of the National
Buddhist Office were found that most of the subjects were female (42.72%) age
between 42 to 50 (66.82%) graduated with Bachelor’s degree (72.96%) respectively
2) The opinion of government officers of National Buddhist Office towards the National
Buddhist Office performance was at high level 3) The opinion of government officer of
National Buddhist Office towards the government performance achievement of National
Buddhist Office was at average level and 4) The relationship between the performance
administration to government performance achievement in National Buddhist Office
revealed that the relationship between the independent variables and dependent
variables was at high level with the correlation coefficient at level of 0.815.
