This research is to design and build a power supply control system for public lighting. Which uses energy from 2 sources : a battery that receives electrical energy to charge from solar cells and Electric power from electricity. To solve the problem of using electricity from solar cells is not enough to use in one day cycle. This research is used to solve problems for the installation of public lamps that have high security requirements. Do not want the lamp to shut down at night but want to use renewable energy as well. Design and build a power supply control system for public lighting 2 Power sources use microcontrollers. Which is divided into working parts that receive energy from electricity and then convert to DC voltage 12 volts. And receiving electrical energy from solar cells and charging the batteries. With automatic charging control system. And use solar cells as a light sensor in order to turn off and turn on the lamp automatically according to the light. While the lamp was turn on at night. The system will check the voltage from the battery all the time. If the battery voltage is lower than the set point. The control system will change the power source from the battery to electricity. With this method of operation, the lamp can work continuously throughout the night. The results of the experiment showed that the power supply control system allows the public 2-type power source to work as designed. On the day that there is sunshine can use enough to power the lamp to use throughout the night. But for some sunny days the control system will switch to electricity when the battery is exhausted. And re-charging when there is sunlight the next day.en_US
