Preparation of Bismuth Barium Borate Glass Systems Doped with Eu2O3 for the Visible Luminescence Material Application

Abstract

In this study, the B2O3-Bi2O3-BaO glasses doped with Eu3+ were prepared by meltquench technique. For study in physical property, luminescence property and lasing potential. The results show that doping Eu3+ in higher concentration make the molar volume of glasses tend to increase.
