Model for Effective Management of the Saving Groups Cooperatives for Production With Special Reference to Uttaradit Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the management of the Saving Groups Co-operatives for Production in Uttaradit Province; to study effective management of the Saving Groups; to study the relationship between the management of the Saving Groups and its effective management to study model for effective management of the Saving Groups and to suggest the effective management approaches of the Saving Groups for Production in Uttaradit Province. Two methods were used. Quantitative research method, researcher has gathered all questionnaires from the chairmen of the Saving Groups Co-operatives for Production in Uttaradit Province with 375 samples and analyzed the data with computer by using the statistical program. The descriptive statistics were percentage, frequency, mean and standard deviation. Inferential statistics were canonical correlation analysis . Qualitative research method data was collected by in-depth interview with 8 chairmen of Saving Groups Co-operatives for Production Schools of Community Development Department and analyzed the by mean of analytic induction. The research findings showed that the successful level of management of the Saving Groups Co-operatives for Production in Uttaradit Province was at high level, the highest average variable was strategies encouraged to take advantage of the saving group by application good governance; the effective management of the Groups was at high level with the highest average variable being working according to monthly plans ; management of the committee of saving group for product according to high level planning; the found model was effective management of the Saving groups for production in Uttaradit Province related to policy compliance, monitoring, regulation compliance and arget achievement. So the recommendation of researcher was that the committee of saving groups should operate as found model for effective management of the saving groups.
