Waste Water Management: in case Thonburi
Abstract

Thonburi Remand Prison (2) to study the problems and obstacles in managing of waste water
in the Thonburi Remand Prison (3) to present the guidelines of managing waste water in
the Thonburi Remand Prison
This study is adopted research and with the information from documents, theory and
relevant research, including in-depth interview with 2 relevant persons.
The result of study showed that 1) the procedures of waste water management in
the Thonburi Remand Prison were separated into 2 sections, internal and external. Internal
management was sewerage system to drain waste water outside prison External management
was waste water treatment was unsuccessful because the waste water system was old
Therefore. This format was not suitable for the current situation. This included that there was
no the cooperation from all officers in every step of working. 2) the problems and obstacles
of waste water management in the Thonburi Remand prison were related to the problem of
broken equipments, machines. Insufficient budget and professional personnel for the job 3)
the guideling of waste water management in the Thonburi Remand Prison is should covers
3 phases, the urgent plan which fixes fixes the broken machne to be able to use. The second
phase was re-designs the waste water treatment in the Thonburi Remand Prison following
current situation. The third phase is long-term plan which is setting the plan for 10 years
according with the working life of the waste water water treatment system in order to be
effective usage.
