Job Satisfaction of the Metropolitan Police Bureau: Case Study of Chakkrawat Metropolitan Police Station
Abstract
The objectives of this research were to study the job satisfaction of police officers
of Chakkrawat Metropolitan Police Station; and to study personal factors associated with
the job satisfaction of police officers of Chakkrawat Metropolitan Police Station.
Simple random sampling technique was applied to select police officers of
Chakkrawat Metropolitan Police Station from sampling a total of 138 police officers to
answer the questionnaires. Data were analyzed by vicariate statistical analysis consisted
of t-Test, and correlation analysis.
Research findings revealed that Job satisfaction of police officers of Chakkrawat
Metropolitan Police Station was at a high level; and Age had statistically significant
relationship with job satisfaction. These results implied that police officers of Chakkrawat
Metropolitan Police Station who had satisfaction in working would offer recommendation
to improvement for better services.
